Procrastination is a common challenge that affects many aspects of our lives, from work and academics to personal projects and goals. It often leads to stress, missed opportunities, and unfulfilled potential. The good news is that procrastination is a habit that can be overcome with the right strategies and mindset.
Drawing from personal insights and experience, Joan will help us recognize the signs and stages of procrastination, understand the root causes of procrastination and most importantly, share strategies to overcome it and increase productivity.
Resilience Through Sports
How one thinks when faced with obstacles dictates how resilient you can be. Being visually impaired, Joan often has to rely on thinking routines and a Resilient Mindset to navigate the world. She is deeply passionate about sharing these Resilience strategies with youths.
Through stories, perspectives and shared strategies, Joan will be sharing with you how a simple shift in mindset to refocus on what’s within your control will enable you to overcome setbacks and achieve your goals.
Removing Barriers
As passionate as she is about teaching values through sports, Joan also strives to do her part for a more inclusive society. In Removing Barriers, she shares more about what Inclusion is and how students can play a part in creating a more inclusive society.
